Impact of Biofeedback-Integrated Classroom Environments on Emotional Regulation and Academic Performance in School Students
Abstract
This study investigates the role of biofeedback-integrated classrooms in enhancing emotional regulation and academic performance among school students. Emotional regulation is a critical aspect of learning, influencing attention, memory, and motivation. Traditional classroom methods often overlook the physiological and emotional needs of students, leading to suboptimal learning outcomes. Biofeedback, a technique that provides real-time physiological feedback to individuals about their heart rate, skin conductance, and brain activity, has emerged as a promising intervention to foster self-awareness and self-regulation skills. This research adopts a quasi-experimental design, involving 120 students from grades 6 to 8, divided into experimental (biofeedback-integrated classrooms) and control (traditional classrooms) groups. Physiological measures, standardized emotional regulation questionnaires, and academic performance scores were collected over a 12-week intervention period. Results indicate significant improvements in emotional regulation and academic performance among students in the biofeedback-integrated classrooms compared to the control group. The study suggests that incorporating biofeedback technology in educational settings can provide a holistic approach to learning, integrating cognitive and emotional dimensions. Implications for educators, policymakers, and curriculum designers are discussed, emphasizing the potential for technology-assisted emotional interventions to improve student outcomes.

The Impact of Pro-Inflammatory Diets on Endothelial Dysfunction Markers in Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Meta-Analytic Approach
Abstract
Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease with vascular complications often linked to endothelial dysfunction markers ICAM-1 and VCAM-1. Pro-inflammatory diets may exacerbate RA progression, but their impact on these biomarkers remains unclear.
Objective: To systematically analyze and quantify the association between dietary factors worsening RA and circulating levels of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 through meta-analysis.
Methods: Major databases (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science) were searched for studies reporting dietary exposures linked with RA severity along with ICAM-1 or VCAM-1 measurements. Standardized mean differences (SMD) were pooled using random-effects models. Heterogeneity and risk of bias were assessed.
Results: A total of 39 studies including observational and interventional designs with diverse populations were analyzed. The pooled SMD for ICAM-1 was 0.81 (95% CI: 0.62 to 1.00, p < 0.001), and for VCAM-1 was 1.17 (95% CI: 0.73 to 1.61, p < 0.001), indicating significantly higher biomarker levels in RA patients consuming pro-inflammatory diets. Considerable heterogeneity was observed (I² = 83% for ICAM-1, 96% for VCAM-1). Subgroup analyses showed consistent effects across diet types and geographic regions.
Conclusions: This meta-analysis elucidates the significant influence of pro-inflammatory diet on endothelial dysfunction biomarkers in RA, highlighting potential targets for dietary intervention to mitigate vascular risk.

Optimization of Probiotic-Fermented Beetroot-Spirulina Protein Health Drink Using Response Surface Methodology: Physicochemical, Microbial, and Sensory Attributes
Abstract
This study developed and optimized a probiotic fermented health drink by incorporating spirulina protein isolate (SPI, 68.2% purity) into beetroot juice using response surface methodology (RSM). Fresh beetroot juice (pH 4.45±0.12, Brix 12.5±0.4) was blended with 2-6% w/w SPI via high-shear mixing, sterilized, and fermented with Lactiplantibacillus plantarum MTCC 1325 and Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus MTCC 5462 (1:1 consortium, proteolytic activity 2.1±0.2 U/mL). A central composite design (20 runs) optimized temperature (28-42°C), time (24-72 h), inoculum (2-5% v/v), and SPI levels, targeting viable counts (>10^9 CFU/mL), titratable acidity (0.8-1.2%), and sensory acceptability (>7/9). Optimum conditions (35°C, 48 h, 3.5% inoculum, 4% SPI) yielded 1.2×10^9 CFU/mL probiotics (R²=0.958, desirability 0.92), pH 3.98±0.11, acidity 0.92±0.05% lactic acid, and overall acceptability 7.9±0.79. Fermentation enhanced viscosity (42.6±2.1 cP, +31.5%), total phenols (28.4±1.6 mg GAE/100 mL, +43.4%), DPPH IC50 (78±4 μg/mL, -37.1%), and protein digestibility (89.6±2.1%, +14.6%) via synergistic proteolysis and betacyanin hydrolysis. Sensory profiling by 30 panelists confirmed superiority over 6% SPI (5.7±1.19, p6/9, and TPC/YM <10^4 CFU/mL, exceeding FAO/WHO minima. RSM validation (97.8% accuracy) supports scale-up for Indian markets, leveraging Haryana's beet production (2.1 Mt/year) and spirulina's sustainability. This beetroot-SPI synergy delivers a tangy, pink, protein-probiotic beverage masking algal off-notes while boosting functionality.

Comparative Analysis of Conventional and AI-Driven Threat Detection Systems in Real-Time Cybersecurity Operations
Abstract
The increasing volume and sophistication of cyber threats have challenged the effectiveness of conventional detection systems in real-time security operations. Traditional approaches based on predefined signatures and static rules often fail to recognize novel and evolving threats, leading to delayed responses and high false positive rates. This study presents a comparative analysis of conventional and AI-driven threat detection systems in order to evaluate their relative effectiveness across critical cybersecurity performance indicators. Using a quantitative comparative design, the study assessed a signature-based intrusion detection system alongside supervised machine learning, deep learning, and hybrid intelligence models. Evaluation was conducted using structured network intrusion datasets and system log data, with performance measured through accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, response time, scalability, and computational efficiency. The results show that AI-driven systems consistently outperform conventional systems across all major performance criteria. The hybrid AI model achieved the best results, particularly in anomaly detection and response speed. The study concludes that AI-driven cybersecurity offers a more proactive, scalable, and adaptive defense mechanism for real-time digital protection. These findings support the strategic adoption of AI in modern cyber defense frameworks.

स्वतंत्र भारत में हरियाणा की सैन्य परम्परा का सामाजिक-ऐतिहासिक अध्ययन: भर्ती, वीरता, स्मृति और क्षेत्रीय पहचान
